The House of Wellness – Season 4, Episode 25

This week on the show we pay tribute to Olympians past and present. Not many Australians had heard of Taekwondo in the year 2000. But they did after its debut at the Sydney Games when Lauren Burns picked up the gold medal. She joins judo stars, the Katz brothers, the first siblings to represent Australia at the Rio Games, for our Olympics Special line up this week.

We also pay tribute to sporting stars of a different kind. Donate Life celebrates the most generous of gifts – giving the gift of life. The Transplant Games brings together a worldwide community of transplant recipients, to compete and share their appreciation of life. Meet an extraordinary couple whose lives were changed by a chance meeting and a shared passion for sport.

For Jess Fox, canoeing was always on the cards with both parents former Olympians in the sport. With London and Rio under her belt, her sights are set on Tokyo. And what a training regime she’s set herself!

You’ll fall in love with Rugby 7’s superstar and OAM recipient Evania Pelite, who secured gold at Rio – scoring the try that gave the Aussies the winning lead. Join us this week for a taste of Olympic inspiration that will have you looking forward to Tokyo 2021.

Cast: Luke Darcy, Jo Stanley, and Luke Hines, with Gerald Quigley.
