Logies 2018: Hottest red carpet hair and beauty looks

The biggest names in Australian television were in the sunshine state for the 2018 Logie Awards and while there were a few upsets during the ceremony, the red carpet looks did not disappoint.

This year’s Logies featured a mixed bag of beauty trends on the red carpet, with everything from 70s glam and big hair to modern up-dos.  Here’s our take on the standout looks.

Big, bountiful waves

Nothing glams up an outfit quicker than this eye-catching hairstyle, which looks like it came straight out of Studio 54. Kelly Rowland and Leila McKinnon both rocked variations of the hair trend.

Up-dos featuring soft, tousled waves were a popular look for the night, worn by the likes of Lisa Wilkinson and Elyse Knowles, creating an elegant, feminine finish to their red carpet looks.

Ultra-slick hairstyles were another popular look for the night, sported by a variety of talent. What’s great about this trend is it can tone down the make-up and prevent the ensemble from looking over styled.

Warm toned smokey eyes were another go-to beauty look on this year’s red carpet, providing an elegant finish. We loved Rachel Finch’s deep brown smokey eyes in particular.
