Blueberry and Banana Breakfast Protein Bars

These sugar-free protein snacks are packed with nourishing goodness and perfect for an on-the-go breakfast or afternoon treat.

Step 1.
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a 20x20cm baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2.
In a large saucepan, over low heat, melt the honey and olive oil together.

Step 3.
Remove the pan from the heat. In a separate bowl mash the bananas, then mix in the almond meal, baking powder, blueberries, hemp seeds, oats, smoothie powder, and the melted honey and oil, and mix well.

Step 4.
Spread the mixture into the baking tray evenly and using a knife, mark the mixture into squares.

Step 5.
Place in the oven for 20 minutes or till golden brown.

Serves 4
