Katie Williams’ secret to year-round radiant skin

When it comes to getting her glow on, former elite sprinter turned health and fitness advocate Katie Williams swears by these star natural skincare ingredients.

They don’t call Katie Williams the freshest face in Australian health and fitness for nothing.

A former elite athlete, Katie broke into Aussie consciousness as a gold-medal winning beach sprinter before winning hearts as a contestant on Australian Ninja Warrior.

The health and fitness influencer, known for her stunning glow, is a major fan of natural skincare – and there’s one beauty hack she can’t live without.

“I call it face mask Friday,” she says. “It tops off what’s usually been a busy week and relaxes me for the weekend. I have a bath, apply my mask with a glass of wine in hand and a candle lit nearby.”

‘It smells like pumpkin spiced pie’

Katie’s mask of choice? The Andalou Naturals Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Brightening Mask.

“It literally smells like pumpkin spiced pie,” she says. “I love the natural ingredients in this product – there are fruit stem cells, vitamin C and Manuka honey.”

A brand ambassador for Anadalou, Katie says she’s often tempted to use the mask more than once a week, always at night.

“My favourite active ingredient is glycolic acid, which exfoliates the skin and dissolves dead skin cells,” she says.

“It actually tingles on the skin – which leaves it feeling fresh, clean and brighter. I notice a difference in my skin texture too; it feels softer to touch and is smoother to apply makeup on the next day.”

A new frontier in skincare technology

Andalou Naturals’ brightening range uses a raft of powerful natural ingredients.

Glycolic acid, a water-soluble alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), acts as an exfoliator to help remove outer layer skin cells and bring fresh new skin to the surface.

Then there’s vitamin C, a potent antioxidant that helps to protect and enhance skin.

Fruit stem cells are another star of Andalou’s signature innovation.

Using cutting-edge technology, Andalou extracts some of nature’s most potent bioactive stem cells from heirloom apples, grapes, Swiss alpine rose and the argan tree. These are blended into Andalou’s formulations to support skin protection, restoration and radiance. Nature at its best.

Bright, radiant skin using the best nature has to offer

There’s also turmeric for a brighter complexion, purple carrot, rich in beta carotene, and probiotics to promote the growth of healthy flora on skin.

There’s a product for every occasion in Andalou’s brightening range including the Turmeric + C Enlighten Serum, Probiotic + C Renewal Cream and Purple Carrot + C Luminous Night Cream, just to name a few.

And not forgetting Katie’s fave, the Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Brightening Mask.

“Bright glowing skin is always important to me, all year round,” says the trainer and presenter, who recently launched a second series of her Better For It podcast.

“There’s something about vibrant and vital skin that makes me feel more confident. I wear less makeup, I look and feel healthier when I’m looking after my skin and my body.”
